Time flies. It's been two months since our last post. Griffin is 6 mths old in these pics and growing like a weed. At his 6 mnth check up he was 17.2 lbs! He's still 50% for weight but has jumped to 75% for height. Catching up to Sawyer rapidly.
Sawyer will be be starting pre-school in August. He's growing so fast. They will start working on reading, math, using computers and he'll get Spanish everyday instead of just on Fridays. He is really absorbing Spanish, even though it's only one day a week, I can't imagine how much he'll learn if he gets it everyday! I need to start brushing up on my Spanish from college so I can keep up. Well, and my company (Talecris) was just bought by a Spanish company (Grifols) so I have even more reasons now!
We've been enjoying the bounties of summer. Fresh fruit, fresh veggies, fresh meat and fresh seafood! We get fabulous fresh EVERYTHING through a local CSA, www.farmtoforkmeat.com The 11lb lobster came straight from the NC coast through this CSA and was DELICIOUS! We gorged ourselves on the legs and the tail (grilled) and still had tons of meat left over for a Lobster-Corn Chowder. MMMMMmmmmm. The strawberries have been wonderful although the season is now over. No worries, we've moved on to fresh corn, blueberries and peaches. There's always something in season to enjoy. Sawyer is loving all the salads with summer tomatoes, cucumbers, spring onions and radishes. Such a good eater, we are very thankful for that! Toddlers are usually impossible to feed, but Sawyer is so easy. Griffin is eating solids now and so far has only rejected green beans. Hopefully, he'll follow in Sawyer's footsteps and be a good eater too.

We hope you are all having a nice summer!
Love,
The Wellhouse Family
